Annie, our founder, spent her childhood on a smallholding in Oxfordshire half way up a wooded hillside. Taking up perfumery later in life has inspired her to return to her roots and move to an ancient stone cottage in the Cotswolds. Composing and testing her fragrances in a tiny laboratory and producing them by hand is her response to a deeply felt need to reconnect with this place.

We use renewable and biodegradable ingredients, such as carefully sourced essential oils, plant-based alcohols, and upcycled materials.
We source our raw materials from suppliers who respect nature and the people who produce them.
We use recyclable and reusable packaging materials to minimise waste.
We prioritise sustainable transportation options whenever possible to reduce the carbon footprint associated with moving ingredients and finished products.
The ingredients we use do not all grow locally. Many of our botanicals have to be imported – but we source them carefully to make sure they are harvested sustainably.
